I did mine. Your serial # needs to have the Z suffix (maybe) this would indicate that the pickup tube from the rear area to the filter cavity is in place. My pump, mounting plate, & filter came off of a 504. The man at the junkyard knew they are identical. I got the new pump drive gear from IH, it's supposed to enable getting the correct lash if I remember right. I also used the valve set from the 504, the bracket was easy to modify.
