I have a Farmall 130, probably close to 10,000 hours, 3/4 of that without lead. I also had a Farmall 300, probably has 25,000 hours on it by now, I know it's on it's 6th set of pistons and sleeves. It too probably had 3/4 of it's hours without lead. Since lead protected the valves, I can tell you this, bottom end of the engine will long be worn out before the head gives problems. Since you'll problbly do the head at every rebuild, not much point in spending money on lead. Besides once after no lead, my 300 had a piston and sleeve kit installed and the head required no rebuild. In that case the head out lasted two piston and sleeve kits.
