Greg: I'm not much of a photo guy. Basically if you take Keith's photos and diagrams, all I did was replace the jack with the 1" fine thread bolt. I drilled a 1"+ hole through cross member where base of jack sits in his photo, put the head of the bolt against pulley putting it on. Taking it off, I used a 3/4" bolt 4" long in through the pulley and put head of 1" bolt against that.
Jim Becker and Pete suggest putting a 5/8" coarse thread bolt in threaded end of crank for pushing pulley back on. I had my pulley warm enough that it was just comfortable for bare hands. The crank was cold from unheated building and we had frost last night. When I consider the pressure I put on a 1-5/16" spanner wrench on the 1" fine thread, I don't think I'd want to try it with 5/8" coarse. I don't think 5/8" course would have taken the pressure.
