Also the 2444 has one pump that runs rear lift and steering. theire is a priority flow diverter that rounte fluid to the steering system and regulates the pressure on it. could be a problem in there. 2444's came with a few different steering options. one steering ram, two and I have seen a B version with a non ram type of power steering.
