After sitting for 6 months, clutch disk is probably stuck to flywheel and/or pressure plate. One way to loosen clutch is with tractor turned off, wheels blocked and brakes on put transmission in high gear, CLUTCH DEPRESSED, LEAVE FUEL SHUTOFF IN OFF position and bump the starter a couple of times and clutch should brake free.
