Thank's guys. I remember Dad digging late at night while I held the lantern so I,m almost sure it was dug on a new moon. There IS something to that story about the moon phase when digging holes. If the well is ever shipped, I had planned to pull a vacuum to absolute zero atmosphere where a $0.39 stamp would cover shipping. I sure want one of those pond's next time one comes available (less the water). David.
