No No, calm down. Don't shoot the tractor. A4 cycle engine works like this. The piston goes down sucking in the air and fuel mixture through the carburetor on what is called the "intake' stroke. (any tiny holes plugged will stop the fuel) As the piston travels past center and starts back up ("compression" stroke) the air is compressed making it a very powerfull mixture so that as the piston comes to the top the distributor sends a spark to ignite the bomb and sends the piston flying dowmward on the "power " stroke. The return is the "exhaust" stroke and the cycle repeats itself. I don't know why you don't have spark but you must troble shoot. First make sure you have voltage to the coil from the ignition switch. Let us know what you find.
