I removed the plate on the bottm of the oil pump and sanded it flat as per the posts on this site. My 400 will hold at 50 lbs, even after 2 hours. When you have some down time you may want to try doing that first. Its a simple and cheap fix. Then if you are not comfortable with the amount pressure you have you may want to try another gage. At 20 to 25 lbs, I think you are o.k., but it is you , who needs to be comfortable with it.
