No, the pto wasn't effected, but the steering and the hitch was, and also the remotes if anything was on those. The greater the load on the pto, the worse everything else got, the steering and the hitch for example, would stop working properly, like it was starved for oil. They put guages on the remotes and tested the pump and said that was ok, but they said it was the MCV that was causing the problem, and they tried to clean it, but it didn't help it any, so I am thinking the valves might be all eroded out of the thing, since it has been developing problems for several years, slowly getting worse and worse.
