Sure glad I dont have a wife anymore. None of this bother for me! I just buy what I want (and can afford) and dont have to listen to any song and dance about what they think. This is not confined to tractors. The model T Ford forum is full of this stuff, and even the Model A Ford forum. A guy at the local parts supply house wants a 40 ford pickup hotrod that is for sale locally, and his wife is giving him a hard time about "investment". I told him to hell with investment, he has worked 40 years, and if he wants a toy, go buy it.
