It's been a few years back, but I have within the last 4 years gotten some of the felt washers. Got them from an IH dealer. One situation (can't recall where) there was a felt washer and no other seal. When the part came, it was a regular rubber lip seal. So, you'll just have to get the part numbers and talk to the IH dealer. Question...Do you have to split the tractor to get the tranmission parts out?? I'm assuming you have to split in front of the transmission to get everything out. I'm likely getting ready before long to tear into a 140 which I just acquired. Bad noise part of the time only from the transmission. Did not find that out until I got it home. Started when I did a hard right turn. I suspect bad bearing somewhere.
