Sounds like the sump check plug is not seating and draining back a bit and it takes a littel bit to get fluid back up into the system . The sump check plug is located behind the MCV on the lower right hand side and has a small littel spring that looks like a ball point pen spring or it could be a sticking flow control valve in the MCV.
