The yellow seems too bright for primer and it seem to be pretty much a dead ringer for international yellow. Examining the nicks and scratches on the engine block, transmission, and axle casting does not seem to show any yellow beneath the red in those areas.......it seems to be primarily on the sheet metal pieces. It's not as though it's that important an issue but in my fooling around with antique airplanes and the occasional military vehicle I tend to like to know as much detail about an individual machine's history as I can come up with. It's just an interesting detail that I don't understand so I start asking questions. To me that's a lot of the fun. If only they could talk. Of course my grandfather's mule was white and he couldn't talk either!
