Well Randy, you may be a "hydraulic idiot" but the way you phrased that just made the whole thing clear to me. I haven't tried it, but I suspect if I push the female side into the bracket from behind it will operate the collar and make the hoses go together. Forcing them in from the front only makes it harder. DOH! I think I may have it now, guys! Thanks so much for the help!
