Tried to read my trusty IT manual last night to figure out this lock. My 966 had a small block of wood wedged under the lip of the shaft so I don't know when the thing was last used or what the problems were. The piston seems to be frozen solid so I guess I need to take off the bottom cover and remove all the parts in there? Will hydraulic oil leak out if the tractor is not running? Is it possible that the oil pressure was not releasing the activator and thus they they locked it up so not to be engaged all the time or were they just using the pedal as a foot rest. With this thing I could believe almost any story told. migraine
