My book doesn't have a cross reference for the VAC tractor. IH tractors used Delco-Remy generators the old Case tractors used generator numbers like GBM-4823 A-5 or GHD-6001C could be Prestolite. What's the problem with the generator off the C? They can be repaired by any auto machine shop that repairs starters, generators or alternators. Hal PS: Bob Melville has an excellent trouble shooting procedure for generators and regulators.
