Re Parking brake band replacement. I have never replaced one, looked in my IT shop manual but could only find replacing wheel brakes. I was at IH dealer once when the mechanic was replacing parking brake band on 574. He had fuel tanks, seat and cover under neath the seat off. Apparently you can pull the old band out and feed the new one in around the brake drum. I would attach the new one to the old one and as you remove the old one it would pull the new one back around the parking brake drum. I will probably find out one day soon as my brother had a student hired for the summer and he drove his 684 with the parking brake on and now it does not hold anymore. Good luck JB2
