I'm not a farmer (Eisenhower's "prosperity's just around the corner" got MY dad) but they just scrapped out the old main line of the C.& N.W railroad from Ankeny to Woodward here in Iowa. I'd be concerned with hauling grain if the elevator has only one source (trucks) to get to market. Damn, just like W., I forgot to ask--any body hear from Osama lately? Isn't that why we're at war? But I forgot-W. said we have no quarrel with our Muslim friends. (and evidently the Arabs are O.K. too)
