Frank, If you found the number in front of the radiator and it had no letters in front of it, what you have is a Farmall Regular and not an F-20. At least you have the frame of a Regular. The frame numbers on an F-20 were stamped on the left frame rail between the engine bell housing and the transmission, and they always had FA as the letter prefix. The Regulars were stamped where you mention and never had a letter prefix. What type of steering gears do you have? Are they open gears or are they enclosed within a casting?
