Start in the middle and spiral out towards the ends. Follow the torque sequence that Jon gave. Re-torque after the engine comes up to operating temperature and cools off. I did not use a sealer and have a tiny oil leak under the spark plugs. When it is due for a valve adjustment, I'll re-re-torque the head, it will be fine. Greg
