The pressure regulator is mounted between control valve & reservoir. If screen in it is stopped up, tractor engine will sound like it's "lugging" when control handle is in neutral position, when raising or lowering hitch it will sound normal. If this is the case, remove 4 bolts in front side of regulator & remove cover, being careful not to lose parts that could fall out.Underneath cover you will find a plug, remove it with a flat blade screwdriver. With plug removed, screen should be attached to it. If not, look into hole, I have seen them come off of plug & remain in regulator. Clean screen as best you can, hold plug up to light to see if it's stopped up, there's a tiny hole in center of plug. Can be unstopped with small drill bit or torch head cleaner. E-mail of I can be of more help!
