Here is a close up shot of the bottom. Just mesure from the top of the frame rail to the ground. I cant remember how long I got mine. I went to my local welding shop Purchased 2 lenths of 4 inch x 1/4th inch angle iron 2 x 4inch x 4 inch x 1/4 inch plates 2 feet of b7 3/4 inch threded rod 4 nuts I am lucky my welder has a punch press. Saved me alot of drilling for the holes. I took a 4 inch wide piece of manila folder and traced the hole pattern from the frame rail. He then drew them on the angle iron and put a 5/8th die in the press. He them just punched out the holes. Took about 1 sec per hole. I also had him punch 3/4 inch holes in the center of the 2 square pieces. I dont know what he charged me for the holes and I dont care. Drilling 3/4 inch holes in 1/4 inch steele sucks. When I got home. I cut 3 inches off the bottom of each piece of angle iron and weled them into a square on the bottom. Welded the 4 inch flat steel onto the bottom. Then welded a nut onto it. Just take a 3/4 inch bolt and 2 nuts. Put one nut on the bolt and put it into the hole in the bottom plate. Them screw the other nut onto it from the other side. This holds the nut you want to weld center of the hole. Then cut your 2 foot rod in two. Insert 1 rod into the bolt now welded to the bottom. Then weld a nut onto the ground end of the rod. WaLa!!! You have a stand.

Humming "Green Acres is the place for me..." we purchased a 29 acre tract about 60 miles south of Atlanta. Next came the house, I could talk about that ordeal for another two weeks... But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked
