The other day I was marooned the shop by wet weather, so what to do? I decided since I hear some of you guys talking about lift frames getting worn quite badly, to take mine all apart and spray all the pins and other moving paets with graphite. One boo boo, as I proceeded to remove springs from telescoping rods that run from tractor rockshaft to the lift frames, in removing one of those set bolts on end of spring threads in casting came out with bolt. I called CaseIH, these little castings are on back order. The parts guy suggested that may never change, in other words these may no longer be available. The threads near the bottom of hole are still good and so I tried a product called plastic steel, didn't work. Anyone have any ideas how to fix.
