The story behind that tractor is that the guy who owned it had all john deere tractors and so did his neighbors. Well he had a chance to buy this AC-C but did not want his neighbors to know that he bought an AC. My brother in law works for a john deere dealer and the guy brought it in for a over haul and told them in the mean time make it a john deer. Shortly after a complete going over the guy traded it in on a real john deere. My borther in law knew it was a good running tractor and all of the work that he had done to it so his boss gave it to him for what he took it in on trade. I think we paid $1500 for it five or six years ago. If the story is true or not I dont know but I dont know any other reason for it. Chuck
