Cub Low Boy, is this priced right??

Hello All, I have found a 1958 Cub Lowboy for sale. The ad says that is runs good and needs a charging system and a PTO Shaft, 1000 or best offer. Does this sound high? And, would this be a good tractor for cutting grass, plowing and taking care of a garden? Also, when I go and look at this tractor, what should I look for in it? Thanks, Eight Ball
