I just found out that my grandpa bought an original sickle bar mower for his tractor. I do not know if he bought it brand new with the tractor in 1948 or not. Well when I heard that I went over to the farm and went looking for it along the feild in the brush. Well I FOUND IT!!!! I was very happy. My dad and I have restored the tractor and now we want to fix up the sickle bar mower. It is the one where you un-bolt the draw bar and bolt up the mower. I assume it is a IH implement but have not pulled it out of the weeds yet. Does anyone have any information on the mower so I can tell if I have all the parts or if I have to search high in low in the barn for parts. what color would it have been and does anyone know if they make decals for it??? any help would be great. Thanks Chad Penny
