Fired her up today, all the lights now working and it's charging. Took her for her first spin since I started working on her. The new clutch and brakes seem to work just fine. Good oil pressure. Got a stupid oil leak where the hydraulic pump bolts on. There was one last surprise for me, just when I thought all the spending was over. I was running it to get it hot to set the valves and retorque the head per the Reds advice when she made a loud squeal and smoke was pouring from the front end. The fan seized up on it. Called around and found a new one for $65 and had it one in about an hour.Had to be a little careful with all that new red paint on it. Thanks for the advice Red on the head bolts, after running it found them all to be around 40 to 50 lb.s. Wil post some photos when I get the decals on. Running just a little rich at idle but that's all little stuff.
