Trail type Bush Hog mowers will work fine behind your M. A 7' should be no problem. Try to find a mower with the wheels at the rear of the mower that are no wider than the mower deck. At one time I had a JD trail type rotary mower that had the wheels located at the middle line of the mower deck and that caused them to be outside of the deck. This was not a good design. The mower could not mow out the wheel tracks nor could you mow close to anything because of the wheels. It was also very hard to back up because it was so short coupled with that design.
