You have to have a tank, can be small(portable) or permanent, you have to have a hose with the correct type of fittings and a valve at the tractor end. I have never seen a tank that comes off a tractor but I won't say there weren't any made that way. At least no IH, MM, JD, MF or any other brand I have seen on LP has a removable tank. Once you have the equipment filling them is no more involved than pouring diesel or gas in. One advantage, no kid can steal your gas.
