Tim - My father in law picked 400 acres of sweet corn a season for many years with a 234 mounted on a Super M. It really made the tractor bark - especially when pulling the Field Hand buggy with 3 tons on board - but it got the job done. The Super M had been hot rodded - developed 55+ HP on the dyno - but was still easy on gas and never overheated. Later he switched the picker to an Oliver 1650 primarily because of it's power steering and powershift transmission. Was much easier on the operator than the SM. However the SM made a good picking tractor.
