the great 6v or 12v debate. Work or show? If it's already converted to a reliable 12V for work? keep it as-is. If you're going to show the tractor, re-convert it back to 6V. If you want to show and work? 6V. A properly maintained 6v system is just fine...stood the test of time. Here's a thought: if they had 12V back then...I bet they would have used 12V back then. Makes ya think doesn't it? But then again, what's wrong with 6V's? if you're engine is properyly tuned and wiring is clean bright and tight...nothing wrong with it.
