It sounds like a 100 to me. There is a serial number on the motor that you can try. It is not the same as but will probably be close to the chassis serial number. It is on the right hand side of the block (looking from the seat) close to the radiator and on a raised lump that has been milled flat just below the block/head joint. You may have to remove some paint or grease (try not to remove the number as well) but it should be there. You can also try the casting codes. They are in the form *MM DD Y* the year will be a letter and some of the others on this forum can tell you which letter means which year. Let us know what you find. SAm in NS
