help with removing clutch housing

I'm going to remove the clutch housing from the transmission case. I need someone to give me a step by step procedure on this. Sense I've never done this before I don't know what I'm in for. The engine, hyd unit, frond end, read tires, fenders, are all off. Now I'm ready for the clutch housing. Also, it looks like a lot of cotton packing is in the housing. What's up with this. Thanks for all the help.
