I have a 1940 Td-6 crawler that, up until yesterday, never gave me any problem. Yesterday I pressure washed the tractor take care not to get near the magneto, gauges or any other sensitive part. After the tractor dried off I tried to start i. It started up on gas but was rough like it was only firing on 2 cylinders. After a minute off this and me playin around with the choke, it died never to start again. Now when trying to start it on gas, It only backfires (LOUDLY) as if it were out of time, but I know its not. After going through it I've found all cylinders are firing on time, and it is getting adequate fuel. Stranger still, when I went to tow start it on Diesel, it only smoked white and agin failed to start. Did water somehow get where it shouldn't have? Is this just by coincidence a mechanical failure? Any information anyone could provide would be beneficial. Thanks for your help****Richard
