The trans brake and park lock are different.If the park lock is not holding it needs adjusting.Better yet put in the spring activated lock kit.The trans brake can effect shifting.It is activated by the clutch linkage on right side of tractor.The ajustment is on the right side also.the best thing you could is get a manual.It will explain proper adjustment procedures for both.
