everybody is different. i think the mta is nicer looking. i have two of each. the 450 has lots of things different from the 400, but some of these came later in production. larger gas tank, 12 volt system,a better lugging camshaft,a prettier steering wheel,the fast hitch has load sensing,1/8" bigger bore,late 450's had only one keyway in the rear axles, and i'm sure there are others that i can't think of at the moment.
