I've plowed with both 3pt and trailer plows on h's. I've never been happy with the 3pts I've tried, both a Ford and an old case. They never quite set right. on the other hand, I had an ancient little genius 2x14" that plowed sweet and smooth, and was a snap to adjust and run. The snap hook mechanism worked perfectly to prevent overturning the tractor. Just be sure the rope for the lifting mechanism is tied to a willow switch, NOT THE SEAT or THE DRIVER. I would love to have those plows again. In hard stony ground, I sometimes had trouble pulling even the 2 14"s. That was with a 48 H. The Super H I have now has been strong enough to break shares, hitch pins, and bend the case plow up. I'd like a trailer plow and 3 pt discs. To each their own.

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
