I've had a Saginaw 3pt on my SC for awhile. As far as breaking something, I think the axle clamps themselves would be the weakest link. I could see them poping apart if you were to hit an im-moveable object like a big stump. But that would be good. Better that than an axle. I can't quite picture anything on the Saginaw hitch breaking. I don't plan on doing any ramming type work with this rig like I do with my other tractor. The setup works just fine with normal 3pt attachments. The most I've lifted is about 600 lbs with a rear scoop. Even then the front end stayed on the ground without any extra weights. It did feel like I had power steering though.
