The "load" (high speed) mixture screw is the one near the bottom of the float bowl and facing the front of the tractor. Approx setting is 4 - 5 turns open. The "idle" mixture screw is near the top of the carburetor faces in at an angle. Begin with about 1-1/2 turns open. Note: You gotta open the load screw (turn it CCW) to richen the mixture. The idle screw works the opposite - CLOSE (turn CW) to richen. Setting ign timing is relatively simple if you have a timing light and locate the correct (TDC) notch on the crank pulley.
