jim is right on. Being asymetrical has NO effect on the system. Think about it, the lines are full of hydraulic fluid. Once pressure is applied, the force is instantly applied to both sides. There is a very very very very very slight delay in the side furthest from the T fitting, as the energy has a finite speed through oil, but the pressure normalizes almost instantly. These numbers are so miniscule, so much so, that they are not worth mentioning, but I did anyways =P. In other words (in Jim's words) Go For IT!!!
