You don't need a lot of jack to raise the rear end. An inexpensive 5 ton bottle jack will do the job. Get some blocks from rr ties, and 4x6 posts, some 2x8 scraps. Build a platform for the jack under one axle, slip it in there. You should only have to extend the jack 6 inces or so. Then block that side and lower onto blocks. Do whatever you need to do o that side, then go to the other. Or if you want block up both axles. Make sure the front is well blocked, and that you are on a very level slab. Again you are getting ahead of yourself, Talking about buying things, jacks etc, when you don't have the engine, cooling, tranny ,clutch, or anything else done yet. COncentrate on first getting the engine running smoothly. This will keep you busy for awhile and eat up lots of your non-existent cash. Gordo
