Todays surprise on the Dang Ol 51 H and Picasso pix

Actually I was pleasantly surprised. I pulled the hub on one side and cleaned the bolster and painted. I was expecting bad inside and outside bearings and races. For some reason someone had replaced the races and the outside 1779 bearing, but never replaced the large 14138A inside bearing. The cage was cracked and the bearings went SPILL when I knocked it off the axle. Oh well. At least I am starting to run out of problems.
That is not a poor paint job around the A. It is the reflection of the flourescant lights in the gloss black paint. It took me 2 1/2 hours to straighten out the sign and paint it. It was really banged up.
