Sorry to say this but sounds like you've got a cracked head or blown head gasket. Pretty much coincidence it happened when you put the coil in the manifold. That coil is to help prevent the carb. from frosting up. 460's were bad for that one. When I used to use the one I had many years ago, I had it on the manure spreader. While cleaning barn in the winter, it would idle as the cleaner run. By the time I would shut the barn cleaner off I would have to poor hot water on the outside of the carb. just to keep it from choking itself into flooded death..... probably the head or gasket...unlock the radiator cap, to the point where you have to push it down to get that last lock. run it and see what happens. better check to see if any water in oil too..
