I went back to the barn the other day to check on the H. Checked the antifreeze and topped it off before it get too cold, and figured I would start the old gal up and let her run a bit. I pulled the choke, hit the starter, and she fired almost as soon as she cranked. Pushed to choke back in and let her breathe for a while. It always amazes me how easily the '47 starts, six volt system and all. I guess that's what a lack of compression will do for you. When I get time I'm going to start taking the cultivators off and tearing her down for a paint job and overhaul. We are looking for another H to put the cultivators back on, and put the fenders, belt pulley, and drawbar back on the '47. Once I find another one, I'm gonna paint her up too, along with the cultivators and fertilizer bucket. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I just had to spread a little Farmall luv!! Fireman
