The welding process is you run a bead around the inside of the sleeve. a somewhat heavy weld seems to work best do that in several places as the weld cools it will make the sleeve contract somewhat but be careful you dont burn through the sleeve and weld it to the block i personaly have never removed sleeves in this way but i know it has been done before.but i have removed many bearing races in this way good luck Badgerwy
