A tractor I'm looking at buying is showing signs of being in a fire, I have to say it runs like new and the trans and rear end sound quiet but the gas gauge fuel cap and pre cleaner are showing signs of being in a fire which I never noticed before, almost all the wireing and the steering wheel look like that of a used tractor as does the rest of it, should I be worried or not and go ahead and try to purchase the tractor as I'm sure the person selling it won't tell me either way but I do know when something run's good and is in good shape otherwise I think. I do know it's a 50\50 deal buying it and the gas cap and precleaner could be from a different tractor but I'm wondering if there are any other tell tale signs of a burned tractor?
