I prefer belly mount. IH made a 60" 3-blade mower deck which does a nice job if the grass is light enough. The Cub has enough power to pull it for easy mowing conditions, but get two weeks of rain in good growing weather and you'll have to take half passes to get it mown. A 42" or 48" single blade belly mower is easily handled by a Cub in lots of conditions. BTW running into trees is one of the main sources of damage to Cubs and A's. Just a friendly warning to keep in mind as you get real good swinging around trees and cutting it close at high speed (and having fun) when you get distracted you can do some real damage to the little tractor in a hurry.
