Yes, I agree with redhead. Heating the muffler will cause the metal to expand which may allow you to work it off. If you are good with a torch and the heating it don't help, I have cut the muffler off with the torch. Of coarse that will ruin the muffler and will require a new one. A torch is a mans best friend when dealing with exhaust pipes and mufflers.
