I am a neophyte concerning anything about tractors, but I do know that we need one to do some landscaping and snowplowing around our new property (10 acres). We saw several tractors, but two caught our eye. We are hesitating between a IH B414 diesel with loader in rough shape esthetically but apparently runs good. They are asking $4500. We also saw a IH 350 Utility, gas, with 3 pt and PTO in perfect condition (repainted and only 70 hours on rebuilt motor), with also a loader. The owner is asking $3900. What would be to our best advantage? (The B414 is newer but has 1800 hours on it). Thank you for your insight. (Also, we saw a Fordson Major diesel with bucket and backhoe in rough shape, needing work but owner is only asking $2000. Would it be worth it to buy and try to repair the fuel pump?)
