Andy......the "M" rad. is where it is and no moving it....I did see a guy put a 383 chrysler in one and he had a custom rad. made to fit under frt. tin but she got hot fast(he used it for tractor pulling only) and rad. wasn't very big.......you can throw the "M" shroud away and make a custom one for fan mtg. would move fan couple inches closer to rad. and more room for engine stuff......you need good and max. circulation to keep engine cool....mine runs about 170/180 degrees with a 160 therostat in it...... hope that's some help......
